🎧 Replay everything from last weekend's virtual Divorce-Con™
Divorce-Con™ may be over, but we've got all the session replays for you to watch, plus ways to access resources and exclusive content. 🩵
A few days ago, we hosted our second virtual Divorce-Con™, and we’re still buzzing from the excitement and engagement that surrounded this powerful (and loved) event!
Thousands of people from all stages of the divorce process tuned in from around the world with questions, insights, and curiosity, underscoring the importance of having real conversations around divorce and navigating life before, during, and after it.
Two days of real conversations w/real experts
Throughout Divorce-Conâ„¢, we hosted lightning interviews with 12 incredible experts who shared practical guidance and helpful resources. During these quick, 20-minute sessions, we explored many of the common obstacles and themes people may experience before, during, and after divorce.
The thing we loved the most about these sessions is that they were designed to inform you, NOT overwhelm you. Information overload is everywhere, and divorce is no exception. Add in the reality that divorce is one of the most stressful experiences a person can go through, and it’s easy to see why so many feel overwhelmed.
We’re also intentional about bringing vetted, trusted resources and professionals directly to our community, carefully ensuring that these are people whose values align with the mission of Sincerely, Divorced: reminding you that you’re not alone, and that hope and healing are possible on the other side of this experience.
Thank you, sponsors!
We’re deeply grateful to our Divorce-Con™ sponsors for supporting this event and for sharing exclusive resources with our community. We’re thankful for partners who understand that divorce support needs to be thoughtful, human, and rooted in real life. 🩵
Watch the sessions anytime and anywhere
If you missed Divorce-Con™, or want to revisit a conversation that really resonated with you, all of the session replays are linked below with all of the session descriptions, resources, and how to connect with the speakers (who were all amazing, by the way). 🤩
Day 1 Conference Sessions
Marriage Insurance — The Rebrand That Could Change How We Think About Divorce, Speaker: Nicole Sodoma, Esq., Sodoma Law
We insure everything we care about — our cars, our homes, our health, even our pets. But somehow, talking about protecting yourself within the most important legal and financial commitment of your life is still considered unromantic, pessimistic, or just plain awkward. Watch the replay and read the article.
Financial Planning + Preparation During Divorce to Avoid Costly Mistakes, Speakers: Rob Hannan and Lewis Evans, The Baldwin Group Wealth Advisors
Divorce reshapes more than just a household — it reshapes a financial future. In this session, we talk about the questions people navigating divorce ask most and the speakers leave you with practical, actionable insight for protecting your financial well-being and building a stable, confident path forward. Getting a Fresh Start, Speaker: Danielle Waldera, The Divorce Real Estate Agent
Deciding what to do with the family home — or where to go next — is one of the biggest decisions divorce brings. This is supportive conversation on navigating this transition and topics like understanding your real estate options, the emotional side of leaving (or keeping) a home, and how a realtor like Danielle can help you rebuild and find your next chapter. Watch the replay and connect with Danielle.
Pleasure, That’s the Purpose: Coming Home to Yourself After Divorce, Speaker: Shonda Echols Smith, LPC, AMFT
Losing desire in a long-term relationship usually isn't about losing the spark — it's about losing connection to yourself. This session covers how desire actually works (nothing is wrong with you), why desire showing up differently than it used to is completely normal, and concrete, research-backed ways to feel embodied and alive again — with or without a partner in the picture. Watch the replay and connect with Shonda.
Creating a Parenting Plan That Actually Works, Speaker: Nicole Kobis, Esq., Lindabury
A successful parenting plan is more than a custody schedule—it's a practical roadmap for raising your children across two households. This conversation will explore the key components of a well-crafted parenting plan how to build flexibility into your agreement so it can evolve as your children grow and their needs change. Watch the replay and connect with Nicole.
Co-Parenting When Alcohol is an Issue, Speaker: Thy-An Tran, Soberlink
When substance use is part of a divorce or custody case, fear and suspicion can dominate the conversation. This session reframes alcohol monitoring as a tool for building trust, reducing conflict, and — most importantly — protecting children. Watch the replay and get the free guide to protecting your child.
Day 2 Conference Sessions
Don’t Let Writer’s Block Get in the Way of Telling Your Story, Speaker: Dr. Court Evans
Many people believe they have writer's block — but often, something deeper is holding them back from telling their story—whether they intend to publish it or not. In this session, our speaker shares why healing has to happen alongside — not before — the writing process. Watch the replay and get the handout (click on ‘The Healing Draft’ at the top of the page and enter the password: divorcecon).
Divorce and the Loneliness Epidemic, Speaker: James Ellis, Ph.D., The Loneliness Doctor
Divorce can unravel an entire social world, often stripping away community and companionship at the exact moment support is needed most. This session explores why isolation after divorce affects mental and physical health, and how to rebuild genuine connection after relationship loss. Watch the replay and get Dr. Ellis’ free guide.
MythBusters: Divorce Edition, Speaker: Paul S. Simon, Esq., Hedgepeth Heredia
Divorce comes with no shortage of assumptions — about what it means for your assets, family, future, and the outcome. This session takes on common myths and unhinged moments surrounding divorce separating fact from fiction. Watch the replay and connect with Paul.
Real Talk about Dating After Divorce, Speaker: Mike Smoke
Dating after divorce brings a mix of excitement, uncertainty, and outdated beliefs about love that can quietly sabotage the process before it even starts. This session dives into how to know you're truly ready to date, what to actually pay attention to in those early conversations, and why dating should feel more like interviewing than auditioning. Watch the replay and connect with Mike.
Getting Ready for Divorce, Speaker: Alex Beattie, The Divorce Planner
Planning beyond organizing essential documents, cataloging your assets, and assessing your finances before divorce cuts down on billable hours from divorce attorneys & mediators. In this session, we explore how it’s possible to make better decisions and save thousands by being prepared. Watch the replay and connect with Alex.
Co-Parenting During the First 90 Days, Speakers: Hallie Strauss, PsyD and Kate Alcamo, LCMFT, The Coparenting Collective
This session explores why getting first ninety days right matters more than the custody agreement itself. Learn how to help kids form a positive narrative they can carry about their family for the rest of their lives and the specific language to use when telling kids about the divorce, answering their hardest questions, and holding steady when a co-parent isn’t cooperating. Watch the replay and connect with Hallie and Kate.
